Starkbierfest
Starkbierfest ("strong beer" festival) at Paulaner bier hall in central Munich. Starkbierfest is the "Spring version" of Oktoberfest, and all the local breweries make a special blend of Starkbier just for this occasion. Unlike Oktoberfest, where the festival is gathered in a central parade ground, each brewery and bierhall/biergarten is in charge of hosting their own festivities. Paulaner is one of the largest bierhalls in the city, seating a couple thousand on any particular night.
